Network scan
ZedBee auto-discovers all BACnet devices via Who-Is broadcast. Modbus slaves enumerated by address sweep on RS-485 bus.

Object mapping
Point list imported via CSV or auto-generated from device scan. Register-to-tag mapping configured in the web console.

Poll & validate
Live values stream to the dashboard. Engineering team validates readings against BMS display — no blind trust.

AI layer activates
ZedBee's Delta-T and zone-control algorithms begin operating on live sensor data. Setpoint writes go via BACnet WriteProperty or Modbus FC06/FC16.

Preserve your BMS investment
ZedBee reads from and writes to your existing BACnet/Modbus points. The BMS continues working as before — ZedBee adds an intelligence layer on top.

No controller replacement
Field controllers, VAV boxes, and FCU actuators stay in place. ZedBee overrides setpoints via standard protocol writes — no hardware swap.

Works with legacy infrastructure
RS-485 Modbus RTU buses from 1990s-era equipment are fully supported. If it speaks Modbus, ZedBee can read and control it.

Parallel operation, always
ZedBee operates in parallel with the BMS — never replacing it. If the gateway goes offline, the BMS resumes full control automatically.
